This privacy policy applies to the AlarMap app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Altan Dzhoshkun. This service is provided "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
For the Application to perform its core function (alerting you when you approach a specific location), we require access to your device's location data.
Location Data: AlarMap requires access to your device's location services (GPS, etc.) to calculate the distance to your destination and trigger the alarm at the correct time. This feature requires access to your location data in the background (background location permission) so the app can function properly while you are traveling, using other apps, or sleeping.
This location data is processed locally on your device in real-time to calculate distance. Your location history is not saved on our remote servers, stored, or shared with third parties.
2. Third-Party Services
The Application may use third-party services (such as Google Maps API) for map display and location search functions. Please note that these third-party services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
3. Security
We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
4. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
