Welcome to Alarm Clock (“we,” “our,” “us”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.
We design our App to function primarily on your device. Most data remains local and private. However, some limited information may be collected to improve performance, analytics, or advertising relevance.
Alarm times, repeat schedules, ringtones, vibration settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
This information is never uploaded to our servers or shared with others.
We may collect non-identifying technical data such as:
Device model, operating system version, app version, and language.
Crash logs or error reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to diagnose technical issues.
We use anonymized analytics (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how users interact with the App—such as how often alarms are set, which screens are opened, and session duration.
This data helps us improve usability and stability and does not include any personally identifying information.
If you use the free version, the App may show ads through Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect:
Device advertising ID
General location (city-level)
App interaction metrics
This information is handled per Google’s Privacy Policy.
We use the limited data we collect to:
Provide core alarm functionality (triggering, scheduling, snooze).
Improve stability and fix technical issues.
Analyze anonymized usage trends to guide app improvements.
Display non-intrusive ads (for free users).
We never sell your data or share it for third-party marketing.
All alarm configurations and settings remain stored locally on your device.
Any temporary analytics or crash data is handled by trusted, GDPR-compliant partners such as Google Firebase.
We apply industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for any data transmitted to third-party services.
Access to user information is restricted to authorized personnel only.
The App requires certain Android permissions solely for functionality:
Permission & Purpose
android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / android.permission.USE_EXACT_ALARM
To trigger alarms precisely, even in Doze mode.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
To display alarm and reminder notifications.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
To keep the CPU awake while an alarm rings.
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE
To run alarms and notifications reliably in the background.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
To reschedule alarms after device reboot.
android.permission.VIBRATE
To enable vibration for alarms.
android.permission.USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT
To display the full-screen ringing interface over lock screen.
We do not request or use any permissions unrelated to alarm or notification functionality.

Alarm data stays on your device until you delete or uninstall the App.
Crash or analytics data is retained only as long as necessary to analyze performance trends.
If you uninstall the App, all local alarm data is automatically deleted.
The App is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
Depending on your region (e.g., EEA, UK, California CCPA):
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data.
You may opt out of personalized ads through your device’s ad-settings (“Opt out of Ads Personalization”).
You may disable analytics within Android’s privacy controls or by contacting us.
Requests can be sent via email (see below). We may ask for verification before fulfilling such requests.
We may disclose data only:
When required by law, subpoena, or legal authority.
To protect against misuse or unauthorized access.
In connection with a business merger or acquisition (with prior notice).
We employ:
Encryption in transit (HTTPS).
Secure storage for any temporary data.
Regular security reviews to prevent unauthorized access or leaks.
Despite these measures, no digital system is 100 % secure. Users should exercise caution and keep devices updated.
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically.
Updates will be posted within the App and include a new “Last updated” date.
Significant changes may also trigger an in-app notice prompting users to review the new terms.
