Alarm Clock & World Clock ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is an alarm clock app with stopwatch, world clock, snooze, customizable sounds, and themes. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android app.
We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the core features of the App. Alarm data and settings are stored locally on your device.
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect, how we use and share it, and your rights and choices. It applies to the Alarm Clock & World Clock Android app developed by Contacts App, Call Dialer Screen & Phone Dialpad.
We comply with applicable laws including GDPR (for EU users), CCPA/CPRA (for California residents), and CalOPPA. We also follow Google Play Developer Program Policies on user data and data safety.
We design the App to minimize data collection. Most features work entirely offline with local storage.
App Usage and Crash Data: Through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, we collect anonymous, non-identifying information such as feature usage, device type, app crashes, and performance metrics to improve stability and user experience. This data does not personally identify you.
Local Data: Alarms, stopwatch sessions, settings, and preferences are stored only on your device using Room (SQLite).
No Personal Information: We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, locations, or other personally identifiable information through the App itself.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send alarm, stopwatch, and important app notifications.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS: To keep alarms and stopwatch reliable in the background on restrictive devices (e.g., Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi).
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM and USE_EXACT_ALARM: To trigger alarms at the precise times you set.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To automatically reschedule your alarms after device reboot.
USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT: To show full-screen alarm alerts even when the device is locked.
WAKE_LOCK: To wake the device and keep the screen on during an active alarm.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE (including SPECIAL_USE): To run reliable foreground services for active alarms and stopwatch.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: To display alarm screens over other apps so you never miss critical alerts.
INTERNET: To connect with Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, and messaging (e.g., occasional updates).
VIBRATE: To provide vibration feedback for alarms and notifications.
These permissions help deliver a dependable alarm clock experience. We do not use them for unrelated purposes.
Alarm and app data remain on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Any anonymous analytics or crash data sent to Firebase is handled according to Google's security standards.
We use industry-standard measures to protect transmitted data, but no system is completely risk-free. We do not guarantee 100% security.
We use the following libraries and SDKs. Each has its own privacy practices:

SDP (com.intuit.sdp) and SSP (com.intuit.ssp): For responsive UI across different screen sizes and densities. No data collection.
Lottie (com.airbnb.android:lottie): For smooth animations. No data collection.
Room (androidx.room): Local database for storing alarms persistently on your device.
Koin: Dependency injection for better code organization. No data collection.
Gson: For handling JSON data (e.g., world clock information). Processed locally.
Lifecycle Service (androidx.lifecycle): For safe background service management (e.g., StopwatchService).
WorkManager (androidx.work) and other AndroidX libraries: For background tasks and navigation.

The App displays ads through AdMob, AdX (Google), and Facebook/Meta Audience Network. These services may collect device identifiers and usage data for personalized advertising.
We do not share personal data with advertisers.

You can limit ad personalization through your device settings or Google Ad Settings.
Firebase Analytics provides anonymous insights to help us improve the App.
The App does not use traditional browser cookies. Third-party SDKs (Firebase, ad networks) may use device identifiers or similar technologies for analytics and ads. You can manage these via device advertising ID settings.
We process very limited anonymous data. Any data shared with third parties (e.g., Firebase or ad networks) is for improving the App, crash fixing, analytics, and serving relevant ads. No personal data is collected or shared by us directly.
Local data (alarms, settings) stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase according to their policies.
Uninstalling the App removes all associated local data from your device.
The App offers in-app purchases and subscriptions for premium features.
All payments and subscriptions are handled securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or see your payment details (such as card information or passwords).
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date. Manage or cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings. You keep premium access until the current period ends.
Google may share limited, non-personal information with us (e.g., subscription status) to enable features.
Refunds and cancellations are handled through Google Play following their rules.
We do not share your purchase information with third parties except as required by Google for verification.
All transactions follow Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

The App is not targeted at or intended for children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
