meta-d' analysis in Python

Maniscalco and Lau (2012) proposed the meta d', a type-2 analysis of metacognitive sensitivity based on signal detection theory.

The original meta-d' toolbox written in MATLAB by Brian Maniscalco can be found here.

Below are two closely-matched functions written in Python 3 (required numpy-1.13.3 and scipy-1.1.0 [or later versions]):
