Perception, Cognition, & Computation Laboratory
Welcome to the PCC Lab!Â
This is the website of the Perception, Cognition, and Computation lab at Lingnan University, Hong Kong.
How do we make sense of what we see? In particular, as our brain adapts and learns in response to recent patterns in the sensory environment, how do such adaptation and learning processes change our subjective experiences of perception? To address these questions, we combine methods in psychophysics, neuroscience, and computational models.
! We are hiring !
We are looking for a full-time research assistant / project officer for a project investigating the contextual effects on visual confidence judgments, using both psychophysical and computational methods. Duties include assisting in designing vision experiments (on-site and/or online), implementing and administering experiments, processing and analyzing data, etc. It's a 12-month (extendable) position. For details, please refer to the official job ad here.
We have funding to support graduate students (MPhil or PhD) and postdocs, on projects related to eye-movement and perceptual metacognition.
