I have called Wilmot Township home for 18 years and believe strongly in giving back to the community that I am proud to call home.
I have lived and worked in Wilmot, and have taught at St. Agatha Catholic Elementary School, Holy Family Elementary School, Resurrection Secondary School, as well as others in the region, bringing almost three decades of experience working with students, families and communities.
My commitment to our community extends well beyond the classroom. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the KW Community Orchestra, which as a not-for-profit organization required skilled allocation of financial resoursces, proposal and report writing. I also perform as a double bassist with the orchestra. I have also served on the organizing committee for the Eastern Canadian Softball Championships, coached Wilmot Fastpitch Softball, and was a coach with KW Minor Lacrosse.
For me, community leadership means more than attending meetings. It means showing up at events, listening to people, getting involved and working together to make Wilmot a better place to live.
