I am building a new, energetic and creative research group at HKU. We are looking for curious, self-motivating and talented people with various skills and interests. We are developing a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative lab focusing on a broad range of research at the interfaces of biophysics, fluid mechanics, and engineering. Our research include, but not limited to, biological and artificial microswimmers, transport phenomena in fluids, and applications of artifical intelligence in microrobotics.
Interested candidates should email your application to alancht@hku.hk (include CV and transcript). Applications before Oct 15, 2025 will be granted prior consideration.
Interested candidates should email your application to alancht@hku.hk
Ideal candidates should have strong expertise in one or more of the following:
(1) Optical instruments, hardware, API, computer programming
(2) Microbiology, synthetic biology and microscope imaging
(3) Fabrication of micro/nano robots
(4) Machine learning and artificial intelligence
(5) Large-scale computer simulations on hydrodynamic interactions of particle suspensions/active matter
Interested candidates should email your application to alancht@hku.hk (include cover letter and CV)
