Growing up in Boston, I was that kid who dreamed of being an athlete—okay, maybe more of a wannabe athlete in college—but sports always had my heart. One day, during a sales trip to Virginia Beach, I found myself outside a theater, curious enough to step inside and see August Wilson's "FENCES". That moment changed everything for me. Walking out, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. Fast forward three years, I was working professionally in Baltimore when I had the incredible chance to meet August Wilson in person at Baltimore’s Center Stage. Not long after, I landed a national commercial and appeared in a couple of films—"Guarding Tess", "Foreign Student" and a big Washington Post commercial —which gave me the means to move to LA and study with Sanford Meisner. Once in Hollywood, I booked roles on stage, in commercials, and on both film and TV. My journey led me to be an official selection at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, and along the way, I became a teacher—and most importantly—a father. When my second child was diagnosed with autism, I channeled my emotions into writing. The result was my critically-acclaimed solo play, "A Child Left Behind", which I performed across the country. Over the next decade, I kept busy with stand-up, starred in a short film alongside Kyle Bornheimer, Wolfgang Bodison, and Scoot McNairy, and wrote the award-winning "RAP", a new play that received rave reviews and received AAPEX's Best New Play award. I recently published a book on my years as a teacher and while I am currently working in NY & LA, I still claim loyalty to all Boston sports teams—some things never change.
