During my third and fourth years of high school, I did an independent study for animation where I created an original animated short. It is about a penguin who befriends a snowman. I did everything in this project myself, with some assistance from my teacher. I learned a lot from this project, both about animation and what I wanted to do going forward.

This was an assignment for my introduction to digital art class. The assignment was to create a short looping animation with at least three moving elements. My previous experience with animation really came in handy. Not just with making it, but also with choosing the scope of the project and what I could reasonable accomplish within a month.
