Hi, I’m Alaina Kenely, a film editor based in Los Angeles with a BFA in Film & TV Production with an emphasis in editing and a Game Development minor from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film & Media Arts. I have experience editing and supporting post-production teams across studio, agency, and branded content environments, with hands-on work at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Pixar Animation Studios, and PlayStation.

My background spans short-form social content, animation editorial, documentary support, and narrative storytelling. I’m particularly drawn to post-production workflows—organization, pacing, versioning, and collaboration—and I enjoy being the connective tissue that helps creative teams work efficiently and thoughtfully.

I’m passionate about using editing to shape clear, emotionally grounded stories across both social platforms and long-form projects. I’m currently seeking post-production opportunities following graduation in May of 2026, with the goal of building a long-term career in film and television editorial and post-production workflows.
