Alain Tapp is a Canadian citizen born in Montreal in 1969. He is married to Sandra Quiroga since 2013. Alain is professor at Université de Montréal in the Département d’Informatique et de Recherche Opérationnelle. He was appointed in 2001 and he is full professor since 2012.
Ph. D. in Quantum Information Processing. Completed in 1999 at Université de Montréal under the supervision of Gilles Brassard and Pierre McKenzie.
M. Sc. in Computer Science (Cryptology). Completed at Université de Montréal in 1995 under the supervision of Claude Crépeau and Gilles Brassard.
B.Sc. Double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. Completed at Université de Montréal in 1993.
