In 2014, Mrs. Bharati Lagishetty started her entrepreneurial journey by stitching petticoats from her home in Mumbai. With more than 30 years of experience in the apparel industry, she supplied garments to local dealers while creating employment opportunities for women in her community by distributing stitching work to home-based tailors.
As demand increased, the vision grew beyond home-based production.
Mrs. Sravanthi Lagishetty, a graduate with a strong passion for fashion and apparel manufacturing, joined the business to help transform it into a professionally managed manufacturing enterprise. Together, they established A Lagishetty Enterprise, building a skilled production team and developing capabilities to manufacture a wide range of apparel for domestic and international clients.
From a small stitching operation, the company has evolved into a trusted Design-to-Product apparel manufacturing partner, serving fashion brands with complete development and production solutions.
In 2018, we expanded our presence online to connect with a wider customer base and continue our mission of creating employment and skill development opportunities for women while delivering premium-quality apparel manufacturing services.
