Looking for highly motivated, creative and ambitious students. Interested students, please apply through IISER-Thiruvananthapuram PhD program.
Welcome to the Alagiri group at IISER-Thiruvananthapuram. Our research interests are primarily centered on research in several areas of synthetic organic chemistry. These include a heavy emphasis on "developing new synthetic strategies, asymmetric catalysis and total synthesis" of complex natural products having biological significance.
Congratulations to all graduating students (Parvathi, Afna, Ramprasad, Rewa, and Dr. Kalyanakrishnan) of the AK group💐💐💐. Wishing you all the best of luck for your future endeavours!!!
Currently, there are 2 to 3 PhD vacancies in my group, students who have qualified for GATE/CSIR/UGC-JRF (in Chemistry) can join our group for the PhD program. For more details contact: alagiri@iisertvm.ac.in
