Joshua McCree serves as Co-Founder/Operations Director of the Alabama Mass Band, Inc. A native of Montgomery, AL, he started playing tuba in 7th grade and  throughout high school. A former member of the Sidney Lanier High School "Marching Poets". 

He attended the Alabama State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems in 2014. During his time at Alabama State, he marched for five years in the "Mighty Marching Hornets."

He is a member of the Alpha Delta Psi Alabama Bandsmen Fraternity Inc. and a summer 2020 initiate of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
