Do I need to provide my own instrument?
Yes. While we do have some instruments, they are limited and on a first come first serve basis. In order to avoid instrument shortages, it is highly recommended that you provide your own.

While rehearsals and performances are MANDATORY, we understand emergencies and uncontrollable or unseen circumstances arise. COMMUNICATION with Directors is REQUIRED to be excused from rehearsals and performances.

We do ask that participants at least be in high school or higher; Age 13 & Older

Rehearsals dates and times may vary by location. That information will be posted in the BAND app

While the core of AMB operations is primarily based in the Montgomery Area of Alabama, rehearsals will be where facilities can be secured which includes, but is not limited to: Huntsville, Birmingham, Mobile.

The membership fees, or band dues, cover paraphernalia and travel for the entire season. For the 2026 year, dues will be $100. *NOTICE: Shirts and travel are prioritized for performing members.*
