Why did you decide to run for state office? I applied for office since I have been in love with a classics ever since I read Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series. His raw description flipped a switch in me that made me obsessed with the topic and only a couple months after finishing the series, I took a trip to Greece and Italy where I was able to take a step into the past and imagine myself in the past empires that ruled. It was perfect. My love Latin influenced me to apply since I want to get to know more of the community as well as being everyone together.
