Internet & Network State (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE):
This permission is required solely to stream and download Quran recitation audio files from our content delivery servers. The app checks your internet connection status to determine whether to stream audio or play downloaded files. No user data is sent to the internet.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, MEDIA_PLAYBACK):
This is necessary to play Quran recitations in the background. It ensures the audio continues playing smoothly even when you minimize the app or lock your screen.
Wake Lock (WAKE_LOCK):
Used to prevent the device from sleeping while audio is playing or during long reading sessions, ensuring uninterrupted usage.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):
Required for Android 13 and above to display the media player controls (Play, Pause, Next) in the notification bar and lock screen.
Storage Access:
The app uses "App-Specific Storage" to save downloaded audio files. We do not access your personal photos, videos, or other files on your device.
3. Third-Party Services & Links
No Ads or Trackers:
Al Quran Pro is a premium application. It contains NO advertisements and NO tracking SDKs. We guarantee a completely distraction-free and private spiritual experience.
Content Sources:
The audio recitations are sourced from reputable Islamic repositories (such as MP3Quran.net) and text data from Tanzil.net. These services act as content providers only and do not collect your personal data through our app.
Since we do not collect any user data, there is no risk of your data being stolen or misused from our servers. All your preferences (bookmarks, last read position, playlists) are stored securely on your local device. If you clear the app data or uninstall the app, this local data will be reset.
Our app is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not collect any personal information from children or any other users.
