PROMYS is a six-week summer program at Boston University designed to encourage strongly motivated high school students to explore in depth the creative world of mathematics in a supportive community of peers, counselors, research mathematicians, and visiting scientists.
Since 2015, PROMYS and the Nash family have collaborated to identify and nurture exceptional talent in India and beyond. The Mehta Fellowship, started in 2015, brought students from around the world to Boston University before establishing the PROMYS India campus, which has cultivated an incredible mathematical community of students and counselors in India.
PRISM India is a transformative six-week summer programme taking place at IIT Guwahati where talented students learn to develop advanced mathematics for themselves in a deeply collaborative environment.
MacTutor is a free online resource containing biographies of more than 3000 mathematicians and over 2000 essays and other supporting materials.
This project intends to compile information about ALL the mathematicians of the world.
