Currently, I am a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the School of Mathematics, Institute of Science, Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. My research now focuses on the interaction of perturbed Riemann problems in hyperbolic systems, further extending the understanding of wave interactions and nonlinear dynamics.
Currently, I am a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the School of Mathematics, Institute of Science, Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. I am Dr. Akshay Kumar, a researcher in Applied Mathematics specializing in a system of hyperbolic partial differential equations. I earned my PhD from the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Hyderabad, India, under the supervision of Prof. R. Radha. Before joining my PhD program, I completed my Master’s in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University.
I am Dr. Akshay Kumar, a researcher in Applied Mathematics specializing in a system of hyperbolic partial differential equations. I earned my PhD from the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Hyderabad, India, under the supervision of Prof. R. Radha. Before joining my PhD program, I completed my Master’s in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University.
During my PhD, we studied the generalized Riemann problems for a system of hyperbolic partial differential equations representing some physical phenomena like loading/unloading processes, the Chaplygin gas dynamics model and gas dynamic equations. Also, we completely characterize the Riemann problem for the system under consideration.
