Ingredients
1-6 pastured eggs
water
Directions
1. Fill a pot large enough to hold all your eggs with water. Bring water to boil.
2. Once water is boiling, reduce heat to bring water to a simmer. Gently tilt eggs into the water, one or two at a time.
3. Bring water back to boil and set a timer: 7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs, 8-9 minutes for medium-boiled eggs and 10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
4, While eggs are boiling, prepare a bowl of ice water large enough to hold your eggs. When the timer goes off, scoop your eggs from the boiling water to the ice water. Let cool for at least 10 minutes.
5. Remove the eggs from the ice bath, then peel by tapping an egg against the counter, then prying off the shell with your thumb. Try to lift up the membrane for the easiest way to peel.
6. Enjoy the boiled eggs in salads, sandwiches and as a snack.
