We welcome enquiries from prospective Ph.D. students, M.Tech. students and postdoctoral researchers interested in semiconductor devices and sensing.
Our principal focus is transistor-based sensing and bioelectronic interfaces. Topics include selective ion sensing, the coupling of ionic and electronic charge transport, and wearable, printed and molecular electronics.
A complementary direction examines semiconductor detectors, tunable modulators and metasurface integration for sensing and wave control.
My aim is to help researchers become independent thinkers through a strong understanding of device physics, thoughtful experimental design and careful interpretation of evidence. I encourage clear research questions, reproducible methods and open discussion of results, including findings that challenge our expectations.
I want HESTECH to be a place where students can ask questions, learn across disciplines and communicate their work with confidence. Scientific integrity, respect for colleagues and fair recognition of contributions should guide our work. The broader aim is to develop researchers who can contribute to India’s capabilities in semiconductor devices and sensing.
