Our research group focuses on membrane science and advanced materials at the intersection of Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, and Environmental Engineering. We develop selective membranes and nanomaterials for gas separations, water treatment and reuse, resource recovery, and membrane-based healthcare technologies, including extracorporeal devices. The overarching goal is to enable sustainable solutions for municipal systems, the chemical industry, and the healthcare sector.

We are currently looking for candidates to work on the following research topics:
(i) Membrane-based Wastewater Treatment
(ii) Membrane-based Gas Separation
(iii) Adsorption
Self-funded Ph.D. positions (Candidates with external funding, e.g., DST INSPIRE, CSIR/UGC-JRF, etc.) are also encouraged to discuss with me and apply.
