I’m Akshat Sethi Pilot — an Indian aviator driven by purpose, precision, and a deep commitment to the art of flying. 

Born on November 28, 1988, in Bhopal, India, I have always been captivated by the world of aviation. From an early age, the sound of aircraft engines and the sight of airplanes soaring through the sky sparked a dream that has become my life’s work. Today, I proudly serve as a commercial pilot under the aviation department of the Government of Gujarat — a role that reflects both my dedication and the trust placed in me as an aviation professional.

My Aviation Journey

My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation, followed by the completion of my Commercial Pilot License (CPL). I started my career with Air India, one of the most esteemed airlines in the country, where I operated a range of long-haul international and short-haul domestic flights. These formative experiences taught me not only technical proficiency but also the importance of discipline, accountability, and leadership in the cockpit.

After several years with Air India, I took on the distinguished role of a government-appointed pilot for the state of Gujarat. In this capacity, I operate high-priority and official missions that demand precision, discretion, and exceptional focus. This role has strengthened my belief in the critical importance of aviation safety, operational excellence, and integrity.

Life Beyond the Cockpit

While flying is my profession and passion, I also find balance in life through music, travel, and cultural exploration. I enjoy discovering new destinations and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I am fluent in English and Hindi and am currently learning Gujarati and Punjabi to better engage with communities across India.

In recent years, the name "Akshat Sethi Pilot" has gained visibility online. I am humbled by the growing recognition and consider it a reminder to consistently uphold the principles that guide my profession: calm leadership, technical precision, and service with humility.
