We often don't stop to think about our own freedoms and value our own democracy.

“Today President Zelenskyy made it clear that Ukraine needs more resources to defend itself and its freedom, and that’s what the U.S. is providing. President Biden is announcing dramatic new military assistance for Ukraine today, and I will continue working with the president to ensure Ukrainians are armed with effective military tools – including those designed to strengthen their air defenses – and are supported by strong sanctions, without needlessly escalating Putin’s war. I also share President Zelenskyy’s call for corporations to join this fight – no one should be profiting off of this invasion, from Big Oil to corporations that continue to do business in Putin’s backyard. We are now taking orders for our homemade kolachi rolls and Easter paska bread.
Kolachi flavors are nut, low-sugar nut, poppyseed, and apricot. All flavors of rolls are $14.
Paska bread is available as plain or raisin. A 2.5 lb loaf is $8 and a 16 oz loaf is $4.
Please place your order by emailing bakesale@hgucc.org (just reply to this email) by Thursday, March 31st. With all orders, please include your name and phone number. All orders are pre-order only - no walk-ins for kolachi rolls or paska this year.
Pick-up of your order can be made in the Church Social Hall on Palm Sunday, April 10th from 11 AM - 1 PM. Join us for Divine Liturgy at 9 AM and then pick up your food afterwards!
