The first and current Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Akrilius, Andrew Mark from the Patriotic Party was elected on March 16, 2020. Kristian I, being an enthusiast of international relations, launched a detailed program of diplomatic trips to a multitude of different countries. During the COVID-19 crisis of 2020, the Grand Duke and Prime Minister agreed on placing the nation into quarantine, after numerous requests were made from the Akrilian Parliament.
