Shweta Akolkar
Welcome!
I'm a third year PhD student in the Department of Linguistics at UC Berkeley. My primary research interests are in syntax, semantics, and language documentation. So far, I've worked on projects concerned with perspective and indexical shift, the syntactic encoding of information structure, nominal licensing, and number/definiteness in numeral classifier languages. I also work on documenting the Bishnupriya Manipuri language.
