Dr. Ashwin Kumar currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Physics at  ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education.  His academic journey commenced with the successful completion of a Ph.D. in Physics from the esteemed University of Hyderabad, India. Following this achievement, he ventured into the vibrant scientific landscape of The Institute of Photonics and Electronics, Prague, where he dedicated two productive years to pioneering research in the Division of Fiber Lasers and Non-Linear Optics.

Subsequently, He embarked on a transformative chapter as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at Universidad de Concepcion in Concepcion, actively contributing to the ANILLO project for a span of two years. His academic trajectory continued to ascend, culminating in the securing of an individual postdoctoral project, sponsored by FONDECYT in 2020.

Dr. Ashwin's professional expertise is centered around the development and integration of laser spectroscopy experiments. Within this realm, he has actively spearheaded innovative initiatives, particularly in the domain of machine learning techniques.
