PROJECT NO# 01
This project showcases my design process from inspiration to final garment execution. The concept was developed by observing architectural elements and transforming them into a contemporary fashion motif and final wearable design.
The initial inspiration was taken from the symmetrical architectural detailing of a vintage door. The shell-shaped carvings and structured lines inspired the primary motif development. I focused on balance, repetition, and ornamental elegance while analyzing the form
Based on the inspiration image, I extracted the central shell form and simplified it into a clean, stylized motif. The curves were refined to create a balanced and adaptable element suitable for textile surface design.
The developed motif was arranged into a seamless repeat pattern. I experimented with spacing and alignment to achieve a modern yet elegant aesthetic. The dark base with subtle motif placement enhances sophistication and wearabilit
The finalized motif was applied to a contemporary waistcoat design. The placement and scale of the pattern were adjusted according to garment structure, ensuring harmony between textile design and silhouette. The final execution reflects modern luxury with traditional inspiration.
