Ceramic Heat Lamps & Heat Emitters

It is best to use a Ceramic Bulb Or a Heat Emitter instead of a heat bulb because the chicks do not need all of that light 24/7. I currently use the Arcadia Deep Heat Emitter but there are also cheaper options in the ceramic bulb category but doi keep in mind that the ceramic bulbs are more likely to break and have a shorter lifespan.
