It gives me great pleasure to pen down a few lines in support of the International Conference on Recent Advances in Business Management, Economics and Information Technology being organised by the Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE).
It is a laudable venture to have a conference once in a while to dip into the perpetual stream of knowledge that is being continually nurtured and replenished by the academic community around the world. Many of us, even in academics, often feel that many new concepts and theories are passing us by as we visualise the exploding knowledge boom of the post-twenty-first century. Each of the areas of business management, economics and information technology are teeming with new ideas that have the potential to ignite further research and progress.
I am quite hopeful that this endeavour of the PIMSE would offer opportunities to the gathering of academics, practitioners, researchers, students and seekers of knowledge to exchange ideas and opinions and enrich themselves. My best wishes to the organisers for a very successful conference.
