Hello, I’m Akilah! 

I enjoy designing and developing learning experiences that prevent and solve problems businesses face.  The services I provide include:

I value collaborating with subject matter experts to determine business needs and to create solutions that result in maximum impact.  I lean on years of experience designing content that engages learners without being overwhelming, incorporating meaningful interactions, real world scenarios, microlearning and blended learning into courses and materials.  Using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Job Aids and additional tools, I work with SMEs to design and develop e-Learning solutions that are grounded in the principles of adult learning and drive behavior change. 

In my spare time I enjoy Zumba, traveling off the beaten path and practicing Improv, where I work with others to co-create worlds and invent dialogue that is intriguing, silly and simply fun.
