“No research without action , no action without research”

I am passionate about actively engaging communities, students, and older people in my research to achieve meaningful impact.

Here is an example of my recent project with older Myanmar migrants in Thailand, where I co-produced photovoice workshops on the topic of "care" and evaluated the effects on loneliness.

"What is care?" – A photo exhibition by older Myanmar migrants in Thailand

Participants curated a local exhibition called "What is Care?" that can still be seen online or live at the David Goldberg Center at King's College London.

Results from this project have also been published as blog posts for King's Engaged Research Network and the British Society of Gerontology who have generously funded the exhibitions in northern Thailand and London. This project was also awarded with the King's Engaged Research Award 2025.
