  1. Characterization of Seam Performance by Stitch Density and Ticket Number of Sewing Thread

Research paper elucidates the effect of the stitch density and sewing thread count on PC blend shirting fabric. It has been found that the stitch density and ticket number are significantly affecting the seam strength, seam elongation and seam efficiency. It has published in 'Asian Textile Journal'.

  1. Implementation of Lean Tools in Apparel Industry to increase Productivity

Research paper focuses on the importance of lean tools in the apparel industry. This resulted spontaneously in improved productivity, efficiency, data collection, reduced inventory, maximizing profit, reduction in rejection of pieces, minimum wastage to the materials and higher clarity in the material flow as well as information flow throughout the Garment Industry.   1. Effect of Ring and Vortex Spinning Technologies on Viscose Yarn Characteristics

For the study, a Viscose yarn of 30/1s Hosiery was produced on Vortex and Ring spinning machine. Different yarn properties were studied and analyzed to find effectiveness of both spinning technologies. . The present study also elucidates the effect of Vortex spinning technology on adoption on the level of organizational factors within the context of the spinning industry. The paper has published in 'Melliand International Journal'.
