I am a Prime Minister's Research Fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bio-Engineering at IIT Kanpur, under the supervision of Dr. Ashwani Kumar Thakur.
I joined IIT Kanpur in July 2019. I completed my M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology from Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U. ), Banaras, and my B.Sc. in Zoology with Honors from Dayalbagh Educational Institute (D.E.I. ), Agra.
Current status
Current status
I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in the Amyloid Research Lab. Our lab focuses on understanding the fundamentals of abnormal aggregation of proteins associated with various diseases and disorders. My project aims to understand the natural history of secondary amyloid formation in chronic inflammatory conditions like tuberculosis.
