About me:
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO), University of California San Deigo. Before joining SIO, I completed Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Kanpur, India, in 2022. My research interests broadly span environmental and geophysical fluid dynamics, mainly focused on surface and internal waves, wave-mean flow interactions, topographic effects, particle transport, upper ocean turbulence.

Awarded Commonwealth Split-site Ph.D. Fellowship (2020) to work at the University of Dundee, UK, for one year under Dr. Anirban Guha (March 2021 - March 2022).
Awarded Shastri Research Student Fellowship (SRSF) by Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI) to work at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, for six months under Dr. Mona Rahmani (remotely from October 2020 - March 2021).
