How to Setup Multi-Factor Authentication on Microsoft?

SMS Message: In this method you will receive a text message, including a verification code, whenever you try to sign-in. Enter the verification code given into the log-in interface.
Mobile Application Push: It starts with a pop-up notification to the authenticator app on your smartphone or tablet to approve or to reject.
Mobile Application OAUTH: In this method app creates a 6-digit verification code that updates in every 30 seconds. This is helpful in situations in which you have an area with bad cell coverage.
How to Enable Multi-factor Authentication?
Here is the way through which you can set up your MFA and adjust settings yourself as an end user. Follow the steps carefully:
Go to aka.ms/mfasetup using web browser.
Open the Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication page and click on next
Choose the mobile app for which you want to enable MFA and click Receive notifications for verification option.
Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone.
Follow the on-screen instructions and your MFA will be enabled.
How To Activate MFA?
Visit aka.ms/mfasetup on your device.
Login to your office365 account.
Then, it will ask you the authentication method and you need to select phone authentication
Enter your country and mobile number
Click the option of receive code via text message
It will ask you to confirm the number by sending the OTP on the given number
Enter the code, and you are good to go .
