Research

I am one of the PIs of the Phenotypic Evolution research group, which aims at describing patterns, unveiling functions, and inferring processes related to the evolution of phenotypic diversity in various animal groups.

The MEDBIODIV H2020 project explores the ecological and evolutionary dynamics that have shaped the Mediterranean Basin as one of the worlds unique biodiversity hotspots, using reptiles and amphibians as model organisms.

Together with Dean Adams (Iowa State University), Michael Collyer (Chatham University), and Erica Baken I am a contributor to  geomorph, an R-package for performing all stages of geometric morphometric shape analysis.
