Five years ago, I made the decision to leave my job and devote all my time to art.
By profession, I am an energy engineer. For more than 30 years I served Georgia’s energy system in various engineering positions. However, I am deeply convinced that a person should dedicate the time of their life to the activity they truly love, in the field where they see their own identity. For me, that has always been painting — and it still is.
Alongside my work in the energy sector, I painted intensively and developed my technique in oil painting (I am still learning, and I believe that painting and creativity in general are inexhaustible). In this illusory world I create, I feel fulfilled and realized.
