and your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle information through our AI
plant identification services, farming tools, and the "Botanity" AI assistant.

2. Information We Collect

  Media Access: Our app no longer requests broad access to your entire photo library. We use the Android System Photo Picker, which allows you to select only specific images for plant identification. This ensures your other private photos remain inaccessible to the app. Access to the Camera is still used only when you take a live photo for scanning.

3. AI and Data Processing

Our app uses advanced AI models (DeepSeek AI and PlantNet).

  - Chat Logs: Interactions with the "Botanity Bot" are stored to provide a
continuous chat history.
  - Automated Advice: Farming tips (Soil, Market, Sowing) are generated by AI
based on your queries and environment data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party providers to enhance our services:

  - Supabase: For secure cloud database, authentication, and image storage.
  - Google AdMob: To display advertisements. AdMob may collect your Advertising
ID to provide relevant ads.
  - DeepSeek AI & PlantNet: For botanical and agricultural intelligence.

5. Permissions Required

  - CAMERA: To scan plants and capture growth updates.
 
  - INTERNET: To communicate with AI servers and our cloud database.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  - We store your data as long as your account is active.
  - User Control: You can delete your account and all associated data (including
scan history, chat logs, and photos) at any time via the Account Settings
screen. This action is permanent and cannot be reversed.

7. Children’s Privacy

Plant AI Genius is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do
not knowingly collect data from children.
