Teaching is not just a profession for me — it is a passion that defines who I am. Before beginning my doctoral journey at the University of Oklahoma as a PhD student in Physics, I had the honor of serving as a Physics Lecturer at Allen Career Institute, one of India's most prestigious and globally recognized educational institutions.

After completing my Master’s at IIT Madras, I was placed through campus recruitment into Allen, where I began my career as a Trainee Lecturer for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) aspirants. I underwent an intensive 2-month training and demo evaluation program, designed to assess and enhance teaching skills. Based on my performance, I was promoted to the position of JEE Physics Lecturer.

I was posted at Allen, Ambattur (Chennai), where I was entrusted with teaching the Leader Batches — dedicated one-year dropper students preparing for JEE Advanced, one of the most competitive engineering entrance exams in India. Teaching these highly motivated students challenged me to constantly innovate, communicate clearly, and explain complex physics concepts in the most accessible way.

This role not only deepened my understanding of core physics but also sharpened my communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills. My time at Allen confirmed what I had always felt — that teaching is not just something I do, but something I live for.

As I now step into the world of research, I carry this same passion forward, with a firm belief that true knowledge gains its meaning when shared.
