Short bio
A family man with three children and a dog—all females. A scholar with a passion for learning. A love for mixed martial arts (MMA). Wrestled folkstyle through the teenage years before training full time in MMA between 2011-2013. Fell in love with physics shortly thereafter and my focus pivoted—though still dancing (shadow-boxing, jumping rope) in the backyard a bit. Enjoy snowboarding, juggling, off-roading, and whatever tickles the fancy.

Received a PhD in theoretical physics from LSU (2016-2021); originally advised by the late, great Jon Dowling and subsequently by Ivan Agullo. Previously a Postdoc (2021-2024) with Quntao Zhuang at UofA ➡️ USC. Currently a NRC Fellow (2024-Present) at the Joint Center for Quantum Information & Computer Science (QuICS) at NIST //\\ UMD.
