AJ Abdelnour, a graduate of Michigan State University, earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2022, alongside a secondary focus in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Throughout his college career, he was a regular on the dean's list, demonstrating his academic prowess. In 2019, during his sophomore year, he launched his entrepreneurial career by co-founding Above 10 Landscaping LLC.
Out of Plymouth, Michigan, Above 10 Landscaping has quickly risen to prominence within the community, servicing over 50 clients annually across Wayne County. AJ leads a team of eight, split into two crews, managing various landscaping tasks. Their services range from routine maintenance, such as weeding and hedge trimming, to more specialized projects, including installing sprinklers, hardscaping, and decorative arrangements.

Abdelnour’s high school years at Catholic Central High School in Novi, Michigan, were marked by academic excellence and athletic involvement. AJ achieved a stellar GPA of 4.33 and excelled as a point guard and co-captain of the basketball team, gaining recognition in local sports media. He also gained practical work experience managing operations at Meadows Fine Wine and Liquor.
Community service has always been a significant part of AJ's life. He has dedicated time to teaching basketball at Get Skillz Basketball, helping young players develop their skills. Additionally, he volunteers at Hoopdrillz Basketball Academy and St. Mary’s Montessori, where he assists with various activities and supports the children’s development. His commitment extends to his work with Focus Hope in Detroit, where he was instrumental in designing and constructing a community garden.
His volunteering efforts reached international borders when he traveled to Jamaica in March 2024 with volunteers. They helped 300 locals by providing essential services and support, demonstrating his commitment to making a difference globally.
