Undergraduates and Masters Students (at Lehigh): Undergraduates keen on independent research within our group are invited to reach out and explore existing opportunities. We are continuously searching for driven students to contribute to ongoing research initiatives. Proficiency in standard mathematics, physics, and fluid mechanics courses is expected, along with a foundational grasp of numerical methods and programming.
Graduate Students: Interested applicants are encouraged to apply to Lehigh University and indicate Aditya Aiyer as the faculty member of interest. Following that, you can email me (at aiyer@lehigh.edu) with your CV, unofficial transcripts, and a 1-page research statement (or statement of research interests) that discusses your research interests/experience and future goals. Please include "PHD_CONTACT-[last name]" as the subject. Students must have a working knowledge of fluid mechanics and programming (C++, Fortran, Matlab, Python) to be considered.
We are currently accepting applications for Spring 2026!
Postdoctoral Researchers: Interested candidates can submit their CV accompanied by a research statement and two reference papers. It's worth noting that openings for postdoctoral roles are contingent on funding availability. Consequently, we often explore alternative avenues such as fellowship applications, scholarships, and grants.
