• API Keys: If you use your own Google Gemini API key, it is stored locally on your device to facilitate the transcription service.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide the Service: We process your audio and video files to generate text transcriptions.

• AI Processing: Your media files are sent to Google Gemini API for processing. We do not store your files on our own servers; they are processed by Google's AI models and the text is returned to you.

3. Data Storage and Retention

• Local Storage: Transcription history and your API key are stored locally on your device using your browser/app's local storage or secure storage. We do not have access to this data.

• Third-Party Processing: Data sent to Google Gemini is subject to Google's data handling policies. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms for more details.

4. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Internet Access: Required to communicate with the Google Gemini API for transcription.

• Storage/File Access: Required to read the audio/video files you select for transcription.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. Your API key is stored locally on your device. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
