Microeconomics


Yeva Aleksanyan is a PhD candidate at Colorado State University, Department of Economics. She received her degree in Management from Armenian State University of Economics in 2007. Yeva worked at the Department of Economic Policy and Strategy Development, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, first as junior, later as a leading specialist before moving to the United States and completing her MA in Policy Economics at Center for Policy Development, Williams College in 2012. In 2012-2015 she consulted for several projects including the CGE model of Vietnam and UNDP/UNEP Armenia on Environmental issues. Yeva has been enrolled in PhD studies at the Department of Economics, Colorado State University since 2015. Along with her research, she worked as a graduate teaching assistant (2015-2018), an instructor teaching Gender in the Economy, Trade and Development (2018-2020) at Colorado State University and as an adjunct professor at University of Denver (2019). She was awarded Elba Brown-Collier Prize for Best Student Paper (2018) and Graduate Research Assistantship Award (2019) for her work in healthcare economics.
