Terms of Use — AI Translator

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AI Translator mobile application ("the App", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The Service
AI Translator provides AI-powered translation features, including text translation, voice conversation translation, camera/photo translation, an AI language tutor and a travel phrasebook. Translations and AI responses are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and are provided for general informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, AI output may contain errors — do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial or other critical matters, and always verify important translations with a qualified human translator.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
• Parts of the App require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Prices are shown in the App before purchase.
• Premium is offered as an auto-renewable weekly subscription, which may include a free trial (for example, 3 days). Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period, the subscription renews automatically and your Apple Account is charged.
• Payment is processed by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store terms; we cannot issue refunds directly.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• use the App for unlawful purposes or to translate/generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful or infringes the rights of others;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape or gain unauthorized access to the App or its servers;
• use automated means to send excessive requests, or resell or redistribute the service.
We may throttle, suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or places unreasonable load on the service.
4. Content
You retain rights to the content you submit for translation. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the resulting translations.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, software and non-user content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights other than the limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms.
6. Availability and Changes
The App depends on network connectivity and third-party services; features may occasionally be unavailable, and offline features may require additional system components (such as downloaded language packs). We may modify, add or remove features, or discontinue the service, at any time.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of translations, or uninterrupted availability.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 5, 7, 8) will survive.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
