Nexaus Dev respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how AI Translator: Voice & Camera handles information when you use its translation, dictionary, camera, document, website, keyboard, and optional floating-bubble features.
Text you type, dictate, paste, select from a document, or extract from an image is processed to provide translation or dictionary results.
Online translation sends submitted text to Google Translate.
Dictionary search terms are sent to the dictionary service.
Images are processed on-device for OCR. If you choose online translation, recognized text—not the original image—may be sent for translation.
Documents are selected through Android’s system document picker and are extracted on-device. Extracted text may be sent when you choose online translation.
Voice input is provided to your device’s Android speech-recognition service. The app receives the resulting text.
The app does not provide user accounts.
The app may store the following locally on your device:
Translation history, including original and translated text, languages, and dates
Recent dictionary searches
Language, theme, speech-rate, and feature preferences
Optional floating-bubble settings
Downloaded offline translation models
You can delete local history where available, clear the app’s data in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. The app does not synchronize your translation content to a developer-operated account or cloud database.
The app uses Google Mobile Ads to show app-open, banner, interstitial, and native advertisements. Where required, Google’s consent tools present available privacy choices before ads are requested.
Advertising partners may process device and online identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, app interaction information, and diagnostic information. This may be used for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalized or non-personalized advertising, according to your choices and the providers’ policies.
You can manage or reset your Advertising ID and ad-personalization settings in your Android device settings.
The app uses:
Firebase Analytics for usage analytics.
Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reporting.
Firebase Remote Config to configure app behavior, including advertising configuration.
Firebase Installations to create an app-installation identifier.
Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications where available.
These services may process device, app, diagnostic, installation, and usage information under Google’s policies.
The app may use services provided by Google and other providers, including:
Google Translate
Google ML Kit
Google Mobile Ads
Firebase
Google Play Billing
Android speech recognition
The app’s dictionary API service
Public websites opened through the website-translation feature
When you use website translation, the public website receives normal web requests from your device, and that website’s own privacy policy applies.
Third-party providers may process information internationally and retain information according to their own policies.
The app may request the following permissions:
Camera: To capture images for OCR and image translation.
Microphone: To enable voice input, conversation translation, and keyboard speech input.
Notifications: To show the optional floating-bubble foreground-service notification.
Display over other apps: To display the optional translation bubble.
Foreground service: To keep the enabled floating bubble active with a visible notification.
Internet and network state: For online translation, dictionary lookup, websites, Firebase, ads, and model downloads.
Advertising ID: For Google Mobile Ads where available.
Google Play Billing: Only when you choose to purchase or restore an in-app product or subscription.
Optional permissions can be denied or revoked in Android Settings. Denying a permission may disable only the related feature.
If the app offers paid features, subscriptions, or products, purchases are processed by Google Play. Nexaus Dev does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank details. Google Play may provide purchase-status and transaction-related information needed to deliver or restore an entitlement.
Information is used to provide translation, OCR, speech, dictionary, website translation, local history, offline models, advertising, purchase support, and app-reliability features.
Information is shared with the relevant service providers only when needed to provide those functions, comply with law, prevent fraud, or protect the app and its users.
We use reasonable technical measures intended to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Online services are governed by the privacy and security practices of their respective providers.
You can:
Manage app permissions and notifications in Android Settings.
Disable the floating translation bubble.
Delete local history where the app provides that option.
Clear app data or uninstall the app.
Manage advertising preferences through Android settings and Google consent choices.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Contact us for privacy questions.
The app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children except as permitted by applicable law. A parent or guardian with a concern may contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy when app functionality, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will display a revised “Last updated” date.
