Code Qalandar ("we," operates the AiTone AI Ringtone Maker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
## 1. Our Core Principle: Your Media Stays On Your Device
AiTone is built to work fully offline for all of its audio and video processing. When you select a video or audio file to trim, merge, detect a chorus in, or extract sound effects from, **that file is never uploaded to any server**. All processing — audio extraction, waveform analysis, chorus detection, sound effect detection, instrumental/vocal separation, trimming, merging, and format conversion — happens entirely on your device using on-device audio processing libraries.
We do not operate any server that receives your audio or video files, and we do not have access to the content of the ringtones, clips, or files you create.
## 2. Information We Collect
### 2.1 Information You Provide
The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information (name, email, phone number) to use its core features.
### 2.2 Files and Media
To create ringtones, the App accesses audio and video files that you explicitly select using the Android system file picker. The App also creates a local, on-device history of ringtones you've made so you can play, edit, export, or delete them later. This history is stored only in the App's local database on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
### 2.3 Permissions the App Uses
- **Media access (read audio/video):** to let you pick a file to turn into a ringtone.
- **Modify system settings:** used only if you tap "Set as default" to directly assign a ringtone, notification tone, or alarm tone — this is a standard Android permission for that specific action.
- **Foreground service / notifications:** used to show progress while longer audio operations (like merging multiple files) run in the background, so the App can keep working reliably.
- **Internet / network state:** used solely to request and display advertisements (see Section 3) and is not used to transmit your audio or video files.
### 2.4 Advertising Data
The App displays ads served by **Google AdMob**, a Google service. AdMob may collect and process technical and advertising identifiers (such as your device's advertising ID), general device information, and interaction data (such as which ads were shown or clicked) in order to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.
We do not control what data AdMob collects. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy and advertising policies:

If we use Google Play services' standard app distribution, crash reporting, or analytics features (provided automatically as part of the Android/Play ecosystem), those services may collect basic technical diagnostic data (such as crash logs and app performance data) to help us fix bugs and improve stability. ## 3. How We Use Information
Any technical or advertising data collected (as described in Section 2.4–2.5) is used only to:
- Display and measure advertisements within the App
- Diagnose and fix technical problems
- Improve the App's stability and performance
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your audio/video file content for any purpose, because we never receive it.
## 4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent any personal information to third parties, except:
- With Google AdMob, strictly for the purpose of serving advertisements, as described above.
- If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Code Qalandar, our users, or others.
## 5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Ringtones, clips, and history you create are stored locally on your device and remain there until you delete them within the App or uninstall the App.
- Uninstalling the App removes the App's local database and any files it created in its own storage areas. Ringtones you explicitly saved to your device's shared Ringtones/Downloads folders may remain on your device's storage even after uninstalling the App, since they are standard media files owned by your device, not the App.
- We do not retain copies of your files anywhere, since we never receive them.
## 6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.
## 7. Your Choices
- **Ad personalization:** You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through your device's Android ad settings, as noted in Section 2.4.
- **Permissions:** You can review and revoke any permission granted to the App at any time via Android Settings → Apps → AiTone AI Ringtone Maker → Permissions.
- **Deletion:** You can delete individual ringtones/clips from the App's History screen, or delete all app data by uninstalling the App.
## 8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the App's features or in applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
