Authors must submit their manuscript in two versions; the first must include the author’s details, such as full name, affiliations, home address, phone number(s), and email addresses, while the second must be completely anonymous. Any submitted article that does not comply with this requirement will be rejected outright.
To ensure complete anonymity, in addition to the necessary removal of the author’s personal details, authors are advised to follow the guidelines below:
1. Use the third person when referring to work previously written by the author; for example, phrases such as “as we have shown in the past” should be replaced with “as has become clear [Anonymous, 2007].”
2. In-text citations to the author’s works, where the textual structure indicates that they are his own (see criterion 1), must be cited anonymously, i.e., [Anonymous, 2007]. In fact, the bibliographic reference at the end of the text must be removed from the anonymous text so that even the date cannot be identified.
3. Do not make extensive references to the author’s other works when they are not directly related to the topic of the specific paper.
4. Do not include acknowledgments in the anonymous text, nor mention scholarships or other funding sources.
5. Do not include icons or other types of logos from universities or other research institutions that could reveal the author’s identity.
