To be released in Singapore - 2026 (Trial version Available)
As part of the VIRTUAL AISIA Lab’s ongoing mission to provide high-quality, open-access tools for the next generation of engineers.  We developed a first-of-its-kind, free-to-use SHM R&D platform for students, researchers, and faculty.Â
The Core Tool:
A lightweight, mobile-integrated vibration generation and sensing system. Designed to replace expensive laboratory equipment with a smartphone-based interface.
Precise Control: 1 Hz and 10 Hz step-size frequency tuning.
Dual-Action: Synchronized transmission and reception for real-time wave analysis.
Data-Ready: Automatic CSV logging for instant analysis in Excel, MATLAB, or Python.
We empower every level of the engineering journey:
Undergraduate (1st-2nd Year): Visualize frequency and determine material properties ($E$).
Advanced UG (3rd-4th Year): Analyze boundary conditions and baseline structural "signatures."
Post-Graduate & PhD: Conduct high-fidelity research on wave attenuation, PZT interfaces, and damage detection algorithms.
Frugal Innovation: High-end SHM technology made available at zero cost.
Social Impact: Supporting Indian engineering colleges and global researchers with accessible lab tools.
Launch-Ready: Proudly collaborated with NTU Singapore and developed for the global research community.
Platform: Android (Optimized for MIT App Inventor).
File Handling: Automatic _In.csv and _Out.csv data partitioning.
Modes: Small Area / Large Area frequency mapping.
Safety: Integrated Emergency Stop protocol for high-vibration experiments.
Our Outreach Mission
From my research roots at NTU Singapore and IISc Bangalore to our current initiatives in the USA, the VIRTUAL AISIA Lab is dedicated to professional mentorship. This app is a "Laboratory in a Pocket" for students studying beam deflection, settlement, and structural safety.
